I am writing this whilst failing to stream the Topshop Unique SS16 show. It worked perfectly whilst all we were watching was people taking their seats and fawning over Alexa. But as soon as the show starts, the streaming all goes to hell. Fashion problems hey.
This is actually what I wore on Friday to go check out the BFC’s new home in Brewer Street Car Park, Soho. Which is as mad as it may seem, not least for the insane traffic problems it seemed to be causing. Although for density of fashion editors and blogger per square foot, this location is unmatched. But seriously LFW you have no chill.
Unfortunately I did not have a photographer on hand (like everyone else seemed too) to capture the occasion. This again raises the highly philosophical question – if an outfit never made it to Instagram, did it exist?
So instead these photos were taken about as far away from the FROW as you can get, in the seaside paradise of Clacton-On-Sea. Where it genuinely seemed that all the locals spend their Saturdays winning tickets in the arcades – who knew this was a thing?
One outfit, two completely different worlds.
