Dressing Like A Scandi

If I had to sum up my greatest sartorial ambition, it would be to dress like a Scandinavian. There is no disputing that they are so effortlessly cool and put together, but never in a try hard way.

Naturally, on the other hand, I’ve always dropped my breakfast down my face by 9.00am and find random bits of croissant in my hair throughout the day. Or I’m that gal with a rip in my tights that I don’t discover till I’m on the tube and it’s all too late.

This week Deichmann have launched their wonderful AW15 campaign alongside Norwegian beauty (seriously this girl should be Miss Norway) Hanneli Mustaparta. And I am in love.

The collection is made up of 10 different styles, my favourite 2 were obviously these navy Chelsea patent boots and a pair of burgundy lace-up brogues that look like they’ve come straight out of a COS campaign, but at a fraction of the price tag.

Believe it or not, these boots are actually the second closest I have ever come to the Scandinavian beauty that is, Hanneli Mustaparta.

When I was in Copenhagen back in July, I bumped into her in a cafe and she was even more beautiful IRL than you can possibly imagine. To the point where I legit almost dropped my coffee and had to leave (story of my damn life).

So I’m trying to make up for my klutz like behaviour now, channeling every Scandinavian bone in my body (ahem…)

Well at least I’ve got the pale skin part locked down.
