When I was younger I was a real outdoors girl. I was always at home climbing over a fence or riding my bike. Completely at one with nature and all creatures great and small (although as my parents will willingly tell you, I wasn’t great at rabbit and general rodent care…).
I always loved having a garden and living in the countryside and constantly dreamt of trying to cram a whole stable of ponies in-between our neighbours fences. (I distinctly remember measuring potential paddock arenas. LOL.)
Today I’m not quite so comfortable rolling around in mud, but the garden definitely continues to have its’ uses. Namely bathing on gloriously sunny days and eating Profiteroles (yes that is a whole triangular stack, and no I don’t need any help eating them). When I finally move to the big smoke I know the chances of having my own outdoor space (apart from the pavement) are slim.
So here’s to enjoying it while it lasts.
