The first day we got to Milwaukee the temperature was -31 degrees Celsius.
Now I don’t know how to put this in a non-bodily fluid related way. But those kind of temperatures make you so aware of all kinds of bodily functions you were previously oblivious to.
All the moisture (from your breath) that resides within the bridge/top of your nose freezes – that’s right. Which then means as you move your nose it becomes a little tricky. Eyelashes form hanging icicles and even in gloves you lose sensation in your fingertips. So although these photos may not convey my emotion, I am eternally glad that the weather has dropped back into the realms of normality for this English wimp. Well, at least for now.
