People say to live with no regrets. In general I am all for that. For example, I don’t regret that I had a chocolate muffin for breakfast this morning, nor do I regret the way that muffin made me feel really on top of work for the first hour and then in a weird haze for the subsequent 3 hours.
However one of the few things I will live to regret this year was that I was unable to accept my invite to the GYVN SS15 presentation at London Fashion Week. Although if we’re playing top trumps, the card I’m gonna lay on the table is that I was on the other side of the world, most likely on a beach. So you win some, you lose some hey!?
Regardless, after seeing their SS15 lookbook and their luxuriously beautiful hand-crafted leather rucksacks and tote bags which are perfect for hoarding – a pre-requisite of any bag I own, I do wish someone would get on with designing that time machine. Or a clone of myself? I’ll settle for either. Especially if it meant I could meet the Cole nude rucksack in person (see image below) and practice filling it with all my worldly belongings. Thankfully I think Gyvn, which was only founded in 2014, has a long future ahead and I’ll be able to rectify those regrets sometime in the future. Now, anyone for another muffin?
